Luckily for me I have friends and peers who can take a fresh look at my work and see a terrible mistake at 3seconds 'I'ts to late'. This was easily rectified and all is well again until the next After Effects hick up.

Main Sequence Story Board

Story boarding, painful and useful in equal measures. I have made a story board for my final sequence it wasn't particularly hard to produce as I have already chosen the imagery I will be using for each section of the introduction.  it is only a case of working out what order they will come in and how they will transfer from one to the other i have a good idea how I want this to happen, this is almost defiantly not clear in my story board but I think that if they are helping me design that is more important than the legibility of the work. Organised mess!

Story boarding I have found throughout the two briefs within OUGD202 has not been a strong point of mine but I have tried to make a conceted effot to produce some story boards if only to get what is in my head onto paper in some rough rudimentary way. The story boards are not particularly informative but they where benificial in understanding how I wanted to make my idents work.

Jaws Ident (3)

Once again I have created a ridiculous ident, after discussion with peers and tutor I think that, although the response has been good and they are thought of as funny, they do not work that well as idents and I have decided to pursue them no longer. The sound clips I used although juxtapose the imagery in a funny way do not make sense in the context of top ten films!

Fame Horse (2)

This is the second of my idents, again it is meant in jest and is supposed to look slightly crude. Short, Sharp and funny was the vibe I was going for, this has come out quite well when showing people, which is good.

Darth Ident (1)

This is my first of four idents, the concept was comedy, it was supposed to be a mash up of films that don't necessarily go together but kind of fit. I tried to make I in a similar way to the Comedy Central Friends idents which are featured on my blog, despite having inspiration from comedy central i still think this idea is applicable to my chosen channel BBC three. I think it works quite well but I am yet to share it with many people to gain reaction.

Best Films Experiment

Again Ive tried experimenting with a different tutorial this one to make the text look like the super man intro, this was again just an effort to get more to grips with the program I doubt I will use this technique in either my ident or intro.

5,4,3,2,1

I felt like I was struggling for ideas for the current After Effects Top Ten brief, so I decided I should just do a few tutorials that I felt where vaguely relevant to my top ten. The out come is ok, but it helped me get more to grips with using After Effects as I felt that's something I was struggling with.

Darth Vector

I have attempted an idea with some degree of success, I vectored Vader gave him a ring and a rose to signify three films in the top ten. this is a long process and I'm not sure if would have a particle application for an After Effects video. 

Concept Crit [11-01-12]

This crit was a chance to get our ideas out of our heads and on to paper and indeed discuse it for the first time with other people, it was pretty benificial to me I found my self finding clarity with many aspects of the project for example colour scheme, audience and overall style of the piece. 

Top Ten Best Films [ever]

For the top ten project we needed to come up with five boards with information regaurding our theme [Best Films] the boards needed to state our title and theme but also should have examples of other work that we are intrested in and that may influence our work.

Simple Vector Posters

These are some simple designs I have made based around some of the films in my top ten. I have made them very basic, when talking to peers I discovered that people didnt think some of the designs where as basic as others. I may further develope these for use in After Effects.
